The African girl child has a myriad challenges confronting her health, well being and the realization of her innate potentials. At GYNIX AFRIKA, the girl child sits at the very heart of our mission. We are on a crusade to rural and urban communities alike, seeking to bring as many girls as possible to rise se above all limitations, and become the stars they were born to be.

With 1 in 22 women in Africa at risk of dying from pregnancy and childbirth related complications, we’ve taken up the mission to facilitate programs and activities that will squarely address the major causes of maternal morbidity and mortality in our environment. Our strategies include antenatal health education and screening outreaches, facilitating access to skilled birth attendants, training health workers and allied medical staff, among many others.

Many women in Africa continue to die yearly from : Gender based violence, cancers of the breast, cervix and ovaries, HIV/AIDs, Non communicable diseases among many others. Ignorance and a lack of access to prompt diagnosis have made the scourge of these diseases to go unchecked. Through evidence-based interventions in health education, screening and an efficient referral system, we are tackling the ravaging menace of deaths related to these diseases.

Health education is our major strategic approach to combating the crass ignorance and poor health seeking behavior among women in Africa. At GYNIX AFRIKA, we believe bringing health promotion and education to all women in their own language and locality, will in no small measure effectively bring their health status and well being to a much better place.
